SATURDAY MORNING A.A. BOOK STUDY MEETING 10.00AM - 11.00AM

We  identify ourselves once at the beginning of the meeting, not each time we share.​ We read one paragraph at a time and talk for up to 3 minutes about our specific instructions and/or experience with that paragraph as we would while helping others with this book. Discussion on that paragraph continues until everyone who wants to share has finished (participants can share as many times as they wish). We keep discussion about something the reader shared or the reading itself. If the chair or secretary feel that we're veering too far away from the context of the paragraph we’ll be asked to bring it back to those 2 things. To let the experience unfold as we move through the book, we may refer back in the book to sections relating to this Paragraph but we don’t refer ahead. Questions and Cross talk are allowed to anyone from anyone but we refrain from interrupting.​ We limit our sharing up to 3 minutes each time we share. If we have yet to finish the steps to the point we're reading we limit our participation to questions only. Bad language can cause offence so we are mindful when sharing.

At 10:55 discussion ends and we have the secretary’s announcements, after which we close the meeting with a quote from the A.A. Book. This is followed by fellowship, everyone is welcome.​
